Peel Ports Group are investing £30 million into the development of a new RoRo (Roll-on, Roll-off) berth at the Port of Sheerness to meet growing demand from new and existing customers.

The project will see a new in-river vessel berth and floating pontoon developed, increasing capacity and ability to cater to larger vessels. 

The agreement will see the various components for the windfarm’s 64 latest-generation offshore wind turbines pre-assembled on shore – including the 192 blades being manufactured at the Siemens Gamesa factory in Hull – before installation offshore. 

DACSA has been operating within the Port of Liverpool for nearly two decades, using the port's facilities to store and process essential ingredients such as rice, corn and maize.

Over the years, this collaboration has been central to DACSA's mission of providing high-quality food ingredients to major brands such as Kellogg's, playing a key role in feeding the nation.
