Scott Duncan, Clydeport

Scott Duncan is an apprentice electrician at Peel Ports’ Clydeport. Scott decided to follow this path after leaving school because he believed it would provide a good grounding in the workplace and allow him to develop core skills as an engineer. A typical week for Scott at the port can consist of many different jobs, from maintaining cranes and straddle carriers to carrying out installation work.Scott completed his Higher National Certificate and Higher National Diploma at college and regards this as one of the highlights of his apprenticeship. Scott’s ambition is to build a long-term career with Peel Ports, progressing his skills and ultimately taking on his own apprentice.
