After achieving her A levels in college, Jade decided that an apprenticeship was the next step in her career journey. She studied at North West Training Council whilst working as an Electrical Apprentice. Jade has now been with Peel Ports as an Electrical Engineer for nearly two years.
“My career in the Maritime has changed my life. It’s allowed me to see things that people don’t see every day as well as meet good people and expand my knowledge and experience. Peel Ports have supported my career development by allowing me to do on the job training and on the job learning, allowing me one day a week to go to college to further my education."
