Claudio joined Peel Ports in 2021, becoming Chief Executive in 2022. He has over 25 years of experience working in infrastructure, logistics, property development and financing markets. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Kier Group Plc, the UK’s largest construction and infrastructure services contractor and Chief Operating Officer of Speedy Hire Plc, the UK’s largest provider of construction equipment rental services. Prior to his time in industry, Claudio spent 8 years in the investment banking advisory division of Rothschild & Co.
David has worked in logistics solutions for almost three decades, initially within the vehicle supply chain as Operations Director and for near two decades has held senior positions within both Hutchison Port Holdings and Peel Ports Group, holding a Board position at the latter since 2017. David now oversees the Groups Port and Marine operating business. He is also the Chairman of the Liverpool and Manchester Port Security Authority.
Jason joined Peel Ports in January 2024, taking lead of group's finance, legal and IT functions. Over the last 25 years, Jason's career has encompassed senior finance leadership positions for infrastructure businesses across the maritime, airports and energy sectors. His most recent role saw him as the Chief Financial Officer for Smart DCC, the operator of the national data communications infrastructure for the UK's energy smart metering network.
Lewis joined the Peel Ports board as Managing Director Port Services in October 2019. In this role, Lewis leads the groups HR, Capital Projects, Procurement, Environmental, Planning and Asset Management functions. Previously he has held the position of CFO for MediaCityUK, CFO of Peel Airports and a range of roles involving Finance, Operations and Acquisitions within Speedy Hire Plc.
Koert joined Peel Ports Group as Shipping Director four years ago. His previous roles include Operations Director at BG Freight Line, a position he held for eight years, working with BG Freight Line for a total of 22 years to develop their imports, exports and operations bases.
Stephen joined Peel Ports in 2009 as Head of Business Development for the Mersey Division before moving to his current group role, Commercial Director in 2017. During his time with Peel Ports, Stephen has played a leading role in strategic projects including the development of Liverpool2, and the development of port-centric warehousing throughout North-west England. Prior to joining Peel Ports, Stephen had a career in the energy and logistics sectors with BP and TDG.
Sebastian Gardiner has worked within the maritime sector for over 20 years, starting his career as a trainee shipbroker at Edward Nicholson and eventually became Managing Director of the company. In 2000, Sebastian set up Quality Freight UK, one of the UK’s leading shipping and freight forwarders. Sebastian now sits on the Peel Ports Executive Board after Peel Ports Group acquired Quality Freight UK in 2019.
