MSC Launches Britannia: New Standalone Loop Connecting Asia To Liverpool

We are delighted to announce that MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company are launching a brand-new service – the Britannia – which will connect China/Vietnam directly to the Port of Liverpool.

2PUK – Discover how many retailers and cargo owners are now able to take advantage of a new north-south, two port of entry strategy for the UK.

Thanks to MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company’s new 'Britannia' service, launching in July this year, cargo will flow from China and Vietnam directly into Liverpool, at the heart of the north west.

The Second China International Supply Chain Expo​

Peel Ports Group attended the Second China International Supply Chain Expo Roadshow in London, which complements this international event in Beijing in October.

The Expo is attended by over 250k people and has brand representation from Mercedes, Tesla, Astra Zenica who all want to showcase their latest innovations which enables collaboration with leading supply chains.

The focus this year is very much on carbon footprint. Many of these leading brands ship their component parts from many different places around the world placed further emphasis on shipping closer the end destination.
