Today marks International Women's Day, a global holiday celebrated annually on the 8th March to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.

This year's theme focuses on breaking gender stereotypes and biases, a theme that is particularly important for our industry.
 
In support of International Women's Day, we asked some of our female colleagues about the Break The Bias theme and how the industry can work harder to encourage more females in Maritime roles.
